- Injury news: Tyrod Taylor discharged from hospital Taylor’s hospital stay has ended The New York Giants announced Monday afternoon that outfielder Tyrod Taylor has left Hackensack University Medical Center.
Taylor was transported to a medical center Sunday afternoon after suffering a painful rib injury while wrestling in the Giants’ 13-10 loss to the New York Jets.
We have no updates on Taylor’s condition or the nature of his rib injury at the time of this writing.
We only know that he was kept all night and all morning under observation.
Taylor previously suffered broken ribs (and a punctured lung) in 2020 while playing for the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Giants received good news on the injury front with the return of Daniel Jones.
Their starting quarterback was cleared for contact the morning of the Giants’ 13-10 loss to the New York Jets and could (or should) be the starter against the Las Vegas Raiders.
We’ll have more updates on Taylor’s condition – and the rest of what’s shaping up to be a busy Monday afternoon – as we get them.
Giants outfielder Daniel Jones tears his ACL and will miss the rest of the season Giants news, Nov.
