Josh Addo-Carr has been ruled out of Canterbury’s clash with the New Zealand Warriors after his early return from injury fell behind schedule.
“The Bulldogs have finally decided to rest the star player for at least another week as he prepares to return from an ankle syndrome injury,” the club said in a pre-match statement on their 11th day.

” Addo-Carr’s rapid return comes as a shock after he was expected to be ruled out of action for at least another month following surgery.
However, the club are confident it is just a small setback ahead of Round 11.
During Addo-Carr’s time on the bench, the Dogs struggled, losing 3 of their last 4 matches.
“My plan is to come back next week (against the Warriors),” Addo-Carr told News Corp.
“It will depend on fitness and Cam (Ciraldo).

It was a frustrating time.
This year’s journey has been different, perhaps this is the time I’ve been on the sidelines the longest.
“I’ve been extremely lucky with injuries in the past, but I’ve done everything I can to get back playing and hopefully next week.

Following surgery, Addo-Carr was ruled out of the opening State of Origin match, with the NSW winger initially not expected to return until round 15.
