Ipswich Town are not interested in entertaining any offers for Derby County target Freddie Ladapo this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Ladapo scored 17 times in League One last season and played a big role in helping Ipswich to get promoted to the Championship.

His goalscoring record in the third tier of English football has attracted the interest of several League One clubs in the ongoing summer transfer window.

 

Derby are amongst the sides who are interested in getting their hands on the forward ahead of the new season.

But it has been claimed that any bid for Ladapo is likely to be doomed given Ipswich’s stance.

Ipswich are in no mood to sell him and will not entertain any offers for Ladapo in the ongoing transfer window.

Kieran McKenna wants the forward to remain part of his squad and prove himself in the Championship next season.

The Rams are likely to look at other targets as Paul Warne seeks to build a squad that can challenge for promotion in the upcoming campaign.
