BREAKING: New Orleans Saints Star Receiver Arrested For Throwing Bricks At Neighbor’s Car
New Orleans Saints star receiver Michael Thomas was arrested on Friday night. Witnesses say that the star receiver was taken away by police after an incident in Kenner, Louisiana. Here is the report by WDSU that gives full details of the incident that occurred.
According to the report, the incident involving Thomas triggered a large police presence in the area, which was triggered by an altercation involving the receiver and some contractors. Thomas was accused of throwing two bricks at the contractor’s car, which was parked on the street near where he resides. It is also being reported that Thomas took the individual’s phone from him, and tossed it away when he was recording the incident.
Neighbors who witnessed this were quick to call the police as their concerns grew. The NFL organization released a statement on the issue at hand, saying that they are aware of the incident. It says, “We are aware of the incident and are gathering information.” No more details from the team have come out yet, but it will likely cause Thomas to miss some significant time.
This is not the first Saints receiver that has been in trouble with the law this season. Recently, Chris Olave was taken into custody after he was going 70 miles per hour in a 35 zone. The fact that both receivers from the same team have been in trouble with police should be a huge concern for New Orleans.

In an interview with WDSU, the victim claims that Thomas also physically pushed him during the chaos on top of throwing bricks at his truck. Thomas has been trying to get back to playing at a high level again after dealing with injuries for the last couple of seasons. From 2016-2019, he was able to amount to well over 1,000 receiving yards in each season. With this situation, it looks like it will be impossible for him to be able to get back to that form. This is an ongoing situation and further details have yet to be released.

There are indications that Minnesota Vikings’ standout wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, may opt to sit out the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints, but the team has left a slight window of opportunity open. Officially designated as questionable for Sunday, Jefferson has been absent for the last four games due to a hamstring injury sustained in Week 5, which landed him on injured reserve. This week, the Vikings activated the 21-day window to potentially bring Jefferson back into the lineup.
Despite hopes for his return, reports throughout the week suggested that Jefferson’s comeback this Sunday was unlikely. Vikings’ head coach, Kevin O’Connell, acknowledged the cautious approach, stating that planning on Jefferson playing against the Saints would be “a little aggressive.” Jefferson himself emphasized on Thursday that he wouldn’t risk playing at “80, 90 percent and have a chance to hurt it again.”
While it appears that the All-Pro receiver might need at least another week for his return, the questionable status retains a slim possibility of an earlier comeback. However, the uncertainty remains.
In addition to Jefferson, the Vikings have listed tight end T.J. Hockenson (ribs), wide receiver K.J. Osborn (concussion), linebacker Brian Asamoah (ankle), and guard Chris Reed (foot) as questionable for the game. Defensive end Dean Lowry (groin) is doubtful, and quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) has been ruled out. The team faces a series of uncertainties regarding player availability as they prepare for the upcoming matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
