Thomas, 30, Thomas was charged with simple battery and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, for throwing bricks at a construction worker’s truck, shoving him and snatching a phone from his hand.
Construction worker, Luis Cifuentes, told WDSU the argument escalated where he parked his truck and had been brewing for two weeks.
“He was driving in and I saw him get out, I thought ‘I don’t know what he’s doing, I’m just worried about my workplace’ and he was heading towards the pile this big sand and took a brick, and threw it at my truck, and the guys said, “Hey man, your truck, your truck!
‘Oh, man, he’s doing something,’ so I took my phone and started recording him, and he grabbed my phone, grabbed me and pushed me,” Cifuentes said.

Thomas then allegedly tried to break into a residential area at the Cifuentes construction site to delete the video.
According to Kenner Police Lt.
Mark McCormick, he cooperated with police and was arrested without incident.
They released the Saints WRs later that night.
Saints have been largely silent on the Michael Thomas case.
Saints released a brief statement saying the team “is aware of the incident and we are gathering information.
” Thomas has struggled with injuries in recent years and has appeared in just 10 regular-season games over the past three seasons.
