Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks is “alert” and “on the move” after being ejected in Tennessee’s loss to the Steelers.

Burks, 23, was carted off the field at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh after landing hard while attempting to catch the ball on fourth down.

The second-year receiver lay motionless for several minutes as medical staff removed his mask from his helmet before he was strapped to a board and then moved.
Burks received a standing ovation from fans as he left the field and he appeared to give a thumbs up as he headed to the locker room.
After the game, Vrabel gave an update on the receiver’s health.
“I will say what it looks like – I think it’s probably better than it looks,” Vrabel said, adding that he hopes to have more information by Friday.

“So he is awake and in the training room being evaluated.
” Vrabel said the attacker was not taken to the hospital and then left the locker room on his own.
Burks is a 2022 Titans first-round draft pick out of the University of Arkansas.
He had two catches for 23 yards and one rushing attempt for 5 yards on Thursday before getting injured.
The Titans continued to lose to the Steelers, with Burks’ injury occurring late in the fourth quarter as Tennessee drove hoping for a loss that would have given the team a late lead.
It was the second straight start for Tennessee rookie quarterback Will Levis, and after a dazzling debut – in which he threw four touchdowns – he once again showed why he was so highly regarded when he left the University of Kentucky.
The 24-year-old showed class against Pittsburgh’s star-studded defense, although his late interception sealed the win for the Steelers.

Derrick Henry scored the Titans’ only goal of the game – rushing over from close range – while Nick Folk was able to convert all three of his field goals.
The pressure is on struggling quarterback Kenny Pickett, who has failed to impress for much of his year and a half in the NFL.

However, trailing 16-13 with nine minutes remaining, Pickett was able to help mount an 11-play, 92-yard drive that began at Pittsburgh’s 8-yard line and ended with a Diontae touchdown catch 3 yards long.

After the win, Johnson spoke of his relief at finding the end zone after a 21-game drought.
“Oh yeah, I mean [668] days since I scored, I’m glad I was able to get in the end zone today,” Johnson said after the game.
“I saw it on Twitter today and I thought, ‘Really, has it been that long?
‘ But like I was saying, I’m glad I got to the end zone and I can’t wait to get there next week.
The Steelers improve to 5-3 when Pittsburgh hosts the Green Bay Packers in Week 10, while the Titans drop to 3-5 when they travel to Florida to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next.
