Vikings agree to reunion, sign LB Anthony Barr Sometimes the time is perfect for a reunion.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings are signing cornerback Anthony Barr to the practice squad.

Barr spent eight seasons with the Vikings before spending 2022 with the Dallas Cowboys.
This is a potentially epic meeting.
Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it was both an attractive signing and one that still impressed the fanbase.
The Vikings made Barr the ninth pick in the 2014 draft, a first in the Mike Zimmer era.
He was initially expected to be an edge rusher, but Zimmer had different ideas than Barr, making him a threatening fullback by using his excellent size and athleticism in space.
In defense of Brian Flores, Barr could be an interesting weapon.
Ivan Pace Jr.
is a unique interior defender, a great offensive athlete and uses his body as a weapon.
Barr’s strength at this time is the second level patrol and is deployed quickly.
They brought in Barr to replace injured Jordan Hicks.
It might only take a week or two for Hicks, but they don’t trust the depth they have in Brian Asamoah II, Troy Dye and Nick Vigil.
