Wolverine Confidential: Jim Harbaugh’s suspension and Michigan’s response vs. Penn State
Michigan’s football team had a whirlwind 24 hours leading up to its top-10 matchup at Penn State on Saturday.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh traveled to State College with the team to coach, but by the time the plane landed, the 59-year-old had been suspended for the remainder of the regular season by the Big Ten for a violation of the league’s sportsmanship policy.
A late effort to obtain a temporary restraining order to block the suspension was unsuccessful, and Michigan was forced to play without Harbaugh on the sideline. It didn’t matter as the third-ranked Wolverines downed No. 10 Penn State 24-15 under acting head coach Sherrone Moore to remain undefeated.
On the latest episode of “Wolverine Confidential” podcast, MLive’s Ryan Zuke, Andrew Kahn and Aaron McMann discuss the hectic leadup to Saturday’s game and their biggest takeaways from Michigan’s victory.
