SAD NEWS ; Baltimore Ravens key player out for the season…

Baltimore Ravens Fans React To Heartbreaking News Regarding Star Player

The Baltimore Ravens took down the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football 34-20 in a game full of injuries. Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow suffered what is to be believed a sprained wrist that took him out of the game, and quarterback Lamar Jackson gave everyone a scare when he looked like he was dealing with an ankle injury. However, the Ravens suffered a loss to one of their star players for the rest of the 2023 NFL season.

Star tight end Mark Andrews suffered an ankle injury that will officially put him out for the rest of the year according to Ravens’ head coach John Harbaugh. Andrews was running with the ball when Bengals’ defender Logan Wilson pulled the tight end down to the ground awkwardly causing Andrews to land on his ankle in a gruesome way.
This loss for Baltimore will be devastating as the star tight end has been their best pass catcher and one of the best tight ends in the entire league. Luckily for the Ravens, their quarterback Jackson will be just fine after he told reporters after the win to “not talk bout the ankle anymore.”

Andrews will finish the 2023 NFL season with 544 receiving yards, 45 receptions, and six touchdowns. He has been one of the best tight ends in the league since joining back in 2018. Back in 2021, the tight end went for well over 1,000 yards receiving, making his case as one of the top tight ends in the NFL. This injury will certainly set him and his team back, though, and hopefully, he will have a speedy recovery.

Baltimore is now 8-3 after their win on Thursday and remains one of the top teams in the AFC Conference. They are also currently in first place in the highly competitive AFC North. They will travel to California next week to take on the Los Angeles Chargers, and they will have to win without their security blanket in the passing game.
