The Tennessee Titans had two players removed from the Week 12 injury report last week, including Treylon Burks.
The Tennessee Titans may actually be the healthier team heading into Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, and that’s reflected in the final injury reports released by both teams on Friday.
-The Titans have struggled with injuries all season, and even when things weren’t great.
If things go perfectly, they’ll definitely be a healthier team this weekend, but that can’t be said often this year.
Ta.
Two players were ruled out from the Titans on Friday.
Wide receiver Treylon Burks missed his third straight game with a concussion, and offensive lineman Chris Hubbard injured his biceps against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Titans have only two players listed as questionable before Sunday’s game: linebacker Luke Gifford and safety Terrell Edmunds.
Gifford is a key contributor on special teams, and Edmunds has made great strides defensively since being acquired in the Kevin Byard trade.
With Edmunds out, the safety of Kevon Wallace, who left last week’s game with an injury, is expected to be fully back and play against the Panthers this weekend.
Despite unfounded concerns earlier in the week, quarterback Will Reavis fully participated in all practice sessions this week after missing Tuesday’s walkthrough.
Ryan Tannehill will also serve as a backup as his health continues to improve.
On the Carolina side, three tight ends were ruled out: Hayden Hurst, safety Jeremy Chinn and edge rusher Yetur Gross-Matos.
Other players listed as questionable include cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and C.J.
Henderson as questionable safeties, and Sam Franklin and linebackers Marquis Haynes and Frankie Lube on the list.
It is mentioned.
Carolina has several key players on its long list.
This comes after starter Austin Corbett was ruled out of the season earlier this week.
Again, this isn’t something they’re used to, but the Titans are a healthier team entering this week.
Combined with being at home, the Titans can definitely hope for a win.
