Bengals vs. Jaguars Injury Report: Jake Browning goes full with wrist injury
The Cincinnati Bengals are back on the road in Week 13 to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football to cap off Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season.
The Bengals are obviously missing franchise quarterback Joe Burrow for the rest of the season, and their new starting quarterback, Jake Browning, showed up on the injury report on Thursday, but I think that’s just so the NFL league office, and more importantly, Dave Portnoy, doesn’t sue the Bengals if he hurts himself during the game (eye roll emoji inserted here).
The biggest name on the team’s injury report is wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was a limited participant in practice along with starting cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt. Higgins could rejoin the team for the game on Monday night, but his progress will still need to be tracked throughout the week.
As far as everyone else is concerned, the only other name that pops up is Chidobe Awuzie, who was out of practice on Thursday due to an illness that’s going around. Germaine Pratt was dealing with something similar last week and was able to suit up for the game, so we’ll see.
Trey Hendrickson, ADG, BJ Hill, and Sam Hubbard were all out of practice but were on rest days. Browning, Drew Sample, Tanner Hudson, and Logan Wilson were all full participants in practice.
As for the Jags, they only had three players on today’s injury report. Running back Travis Etienne (ribs), tight end Luke Farrell (toe), and cornerback Tyson Campbell (hamstring) all went limited, so it looks like they’re pretty healthy overall for an NFL team entering the month of December.
