Giants Injury Report: Darren Waller scheduled to return from IR The New York Giants returned to practice on Thursday, their first full practice of the week, but their first work order was an important one.
Just before taking the field, the team announced that tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) has been designated as a returnee from injured reserve (IR).
If all goes well, he could see snaps Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
Waller suggested Wednesday that a return is near, but he’s just waiting for the green light from his coach.
Even better news is that every player on the active roster played in at least a limited capacity for the second consecutive day.
