Steelers injury report: Three players listed as OUT vs. Bengals
The Steelers had three players that did not practice on Thursday, two of which will not be suiting up against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and Trenton Thompson didn’t practice all week and will miss Week 16. Fitzpatrick suffered a knee injury against the Colts, and Thompson is dealing with a neck injury suffered in the same game. Elijah Riley, who just returned from IR, is listed as questionable after being a full participant the last two days.
Left guard Isaac Seumalo also did not practice after being a limited participant on Wednesday. Seumalo missed Tuesday’s practice, as well. He had nothing listed under his game status designation.
As announced earlier, Kenny Pickett will miss his third straight game as he continues to nurse his surgically repaired ankle. Mike Tomlin said earlier in the week that they were keeping the door open for Pickett to play, but he was ultimately ruled out. This could mean, however, that he will suit up in Week 17 since there was optimism he could have played on Saturday.
