
Angel Reese returns vs. Virginia Tech, Samya Smith out with injury Women’s Basketball The game between No.7 LSU and No.9 Virginia Tech couldn’t have gotten more attention.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kim Mulkey announced some good news: Angel Reese is scheduled to return to action Thursday night against Virginia Tech.
But the good news also came with some not-so-good news.
Samya Smith is out this year with a torn ACL, ACL, and meniscus, and Kateri Poole is still out.
Mr Mulkey did not elaborate on why Mr Poole remained absent.
“Angel is back, but Kateri isn’t.
And Samyaa is over for the year,” Malki said.
“Unfortunately, she broke her knee.
” Mulkey provided minimal information about Reese’s recent activities, including whether she hasn’t played or how long she’s been training.

“She’s playing tomorrow,” Mulkey said.
Despite the Angels returning to the field, the team suffered a setback by losing Smith for the season.
The second-year forward injured his knee just five minutes into the game against Niagara in the Cayman Islands.
In the seven games he played this season, Smith averaged 11.
