Dargan’s management organization, Aria, announced in a statement on Monday that the 26-year-old football player had passed away following a motorcycle accident in the Cook Islands.

The statement read, “We share the news of TJ’s tragic passing overnight with heavy hearts on behalf of the Dargan family.”

TJ was in a motorcycle accident while on vacation with his family in the Cook Islands. TJ was a fantastic friend and longtime client of Aria Sports Group in addition to being a great guy.

He played for the Manly Sea Eagles, Souths Rabbitohs, Brisbane Broncos, and Parramatta Eels before joining the Canberra Raiders in the present. TJ is a devoted brother to Tamalee and Korokai, a cherished son to Troy and Wendy, and a friend to a plethora of people.

Dargan played two NRL games at five-eighth in 2020 while spending the 2020 and 2021 seasons with the Rabbitohs. Before moving to Canberra for the 2024 season, the Cook Islands international was under contract with Manly this year.
