Though rumors of Shell’s retirement from football started to circulate on Tuesday morning, the former Gamecock superstar has decided that it’s time to hang up the boots a little bit into training camp this month for whatever reason. The Bills will have one fewer offensive lineman as camp draws to a close thanks to Brandon’s announcement. He is the only Gamecock to do so since the NFL’s 2023 calendar year began.
