Not really a save to make, but when called upon, I felt rather confident. Really vivacious to the right. always tried to go forward. Too many times got into problems, but overall it was a respectable performance. replaced. A fair excursion. Several times outpaced in pace, although that’s probably to be anticipated. Sufficiently self-assured and rather sturdy in the game.

made a few excellent defensive plays. All evening, a monster was in the air. was also instrumental in the first goal thanks to a terrific run.

Kristian Pedersen Number Seven

Exert yourself to the left. played some excellent balls in behind the defense and positioned himself effectively for tackles.

Joe Allen (c) seven

Despite being the first start since August, there were no signs of rustiness. A truly composed performance in the midst. replaced.

Charlie Patino (8)

took his aim with grace. It was unfortunate not to score first in the first half. looked at ease throughout the night. A lovely show in the center of the park.

Ollie Cooper 7

incredibly strongly connected to Patino and Allen. made a few very strong runs, and maybe more was due.

Sixth Yannick Bolasie

Almost scored a spectacular goal in the first half. looked quite brilliant at first, but after the break, it seemed to diminish. Yet, this is a positive first step in the right direction. replaced.

Sam Parker 7

Nicely built on his encouraging performance vs Coventry City. quite vivacious on the right and executed several excellent crosses. replaced.

Yates, Jerry (7)

Quite a bit of energy up front, and it closed nicely. didn’t receive much of a scent for the majority of the night, but he executed his mission brilliantly. replaced.
