Nottingham Forest looking to offload three players including Super Eagles winger
Nottingham Forest reportedly want to offload three players this summer, including Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Dennis.
Football Insider is reporting that Jonjo Shelvey, Emmanuel Dennis and Remo Freuler are considered surplus to requirements, and could be forced out of the City Ground before the close of the summer transfer window.
Considering his exploits at Watford, Dennis did not live to expectations in his first season at Nottingham Forest as he struggled for game time and goals.
Of his twenty five appearances for the two-time European champions, only nine were starts and he was on the scoresheet on two occasions over the course of the campaign.
Nottingham Forest are keen on getting rid of the three players to make room for new signings and also to ensure they comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
Dennis joined Nottingham Forest for a fee believed to be in the region of €15 million and has three years left on his contract.
Nottingham Forest players, including Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi, have reported for pre-season training ahead of Saturday’s friendly versus Notts County.
The Reds will also face Valencia, Levante, PSV Eindhoven and Rennes in friendly matches before their season opener against Arsenal.
