In the crucial game, the Kansas City Chiefs have four players, while the San Francisco 49ers have two former Sooners.
There is just one college where six former players are involved in the Super Bowl.
Furthermore, Oklahoma is involved.
The Sooners top all collegiate football programs in Super Bowl participation for the second straight year. The Sooners are taking six players to Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58 in two weeks, but it took wins from San Francisco and Kansas City in Sunday’s conference finals.
The 49ers defeated the Detroit Lions 34-31 in Santa Clara on Sunday night, while the Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 in Baltimore on Sunday morning. From Kansas City, center Creed Humphrey, tight end Blake Bell, long snapper James Winchester, and offensive lineman Wanya Morris are headed to the Super Bowl; Bell and Winchester have already won two titles (2020 and 2023), while Humphrey has only won one (2023).

ill be playing in his first Super Bowl. Naked tight end Brayden Willis plays for the Niners.
Eight former Sooners played in the Super Bowl of the previous year: the Chiefs’ Humphrey, Winchester, Bell, and left tackle Orlando Brown; the Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, right tackle Lane Johnson, and quarterback Trey Sermon; and the Sooners’ Grant Calcaterra and Trey Sermon.
