Aurelio De Laurentiis was asked to apologize by the mayor of Bari, Antonio Decaro, after he suggested that the Galletti were just “the second team” of Napoli.
On Wednesday morning, the president of the Partenopei held a long and explosive press conference at Castel Volturno. They talked about everything from Luciano Spalletti’s exit to the issues surrounding his replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract extension and the proposed Super League.

The mayor of Bari Decaro responded to De Laurentiis’ comments on his Instagram page, challenging the idea that the Galletti are just a “second team”.

Bari currently sit 15th in the Serie B table after 23 games, having picked up five wins, 12 draws and six losses.
