Following a second loan spell with the Belfast Giants ice hockey team, Cech is back in North Ireland.Following over 400 appearances for Chelsea and Arsenal, the former international goalkeeper has started a new sporting career, cementing him as one of the greatest-ever shot-stoppers in the Premier League.

The 41-year-old, who was capped 124 times by the Czech Republic, first joined the Giants back in November as an emergency cover. He made his professional debut in a 5-1 win over the Glasgow Clan in front of a capacity crowd at the SSE Arena.

Last April, he played for the Giants in a one-time international game against the Ukrainian team Dnipro Kherson, which raised more than £65,000 for the Ukrainian Hockey Dream.
