A man in Utah defended himself by using his handy snowboard following an attack by a mountain lion on the snowy slopes.

Charlie Duffy a posté sur Instagram le dimanche 4 février sur sa situation proche de la mort à un refuge de ski à Beaver Mountain, Utah.

He informed the local outlet, “I looked over my left shoulder and, you know, five or six feet behind me, about three or four feet up I saw a mountain lion.”

Duffy claimed in his social media post that the mountain lion looked like it was “getting ready to pounce”.

The young man reacted quickly and swung his snowboard “with full force” at the mountain lion that was jumping toward him.

“My fight response kicked in instantly, and I grabbed my board in my right hand and swung with full force at the jumping mountain lion”, a-t-il écrit sur Instagram.

Duffy claimed that the big cat “barely” grazed his neck before it fell to the ground by his handy snowboard.

When he said that his brush with death was not over, the mountain lion got up and lumbered towards him.
