Booker led the Suns with 32 points and Durant scored 24, but it was not enough for a series sweep of the Warriors this season. Suns had two opportunities to win the game owing to the phantom foul. Warriors were lucky to have Green on the floor.

With 0.6 seconds remaining in the game, Green—who finished with 15 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds—became the hero by stopping Durant’s shot.

However, there was one little incident over the entire evening: Green was given his first technical penalty since his return from an extended suspension in January.

Additionally, Green spent the entire evening trash-talking Suns center Jusuf Nurkic, who was a part of the indefinite punishment. The day before Golden State faces the Utah Jazz, on Tuesday, Phoenix plays home to the Sacramento Kings.
