Love for Vikings fans: Travis Kelce says, “They’re not pricks”
They beat out the Steelers with 60.6% of the vote.
Listeners of Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” believe as much.
In order to find out who their audience believed had the finest name in the league, the Kelce brothers created a best NFL club name bracket. They accomplished this by posting polls on X, a social networking platform that was formerly known as Twitter.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Vikings were the final two teams standing.
In the end, the Vikings took home 60.6% of the 36,919 votes cast.
Jason commented on the show, “Just another beat for the U.S. steel market.”
Travis acknowledged the Skol chant and stated, “Vikings is a great name,” albeit he mispronounced the greeting from Scandinavia. Travis laughed at Jason’s indignation about the Vikings winning the bracket.
Jason said, “We’re going to honor Vikings who have nothing to do with the history of the United States or the incredibly decent, hardworking people of this (expletive) country.”
Still, the brothers could agree that U.S. Bank Stadium is a fun location to play and that the Vikings and their supporters are very exciting.
Travis remarked, “You play in Minnesota? That’s a fun place to play, man.” “That’s a gorgeous stadium; their supporters are really enthusiastic about the game and they’re not jerks or anything; they just (expletive) love good football, baby.”
Oct. 8, 2023, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA: Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ game versus the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, tight end Travis Kelce (87) gives a salute to the crowd.
