Draymond Green Receives a Message from a Boston Celtics Star
Is there a chance that the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics will square off in the NBA Finals?
In the 2022 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors squared off. Although Boston was viewed as a difficult opponent for Golden State, Steph Curry and the Warriors proved to be too strong for the Celtics to handle.
Golden State hasn’t looked like a championship contender for the majority of this season, but they should never be completely counted out when considering potential winners. Boston is seen as the favorite to win the Eastern Conference as they have been the greatest basketball team all season.
Warriors star Draymond Green and Celtics standout Jaylen Brown joined the Inside the NBA cast as commentators for their NBA on TNT appearances. When prompted to commend one another, Brown and Green wrote each other a kind greeting. Brown also mentioned that, in contrast to 2022, the Celtics will be prepared to face Green and the Warriors in the Finals this year.
“Draymond continues to do what Draymond does,” Brown stated. “Just introducing that power into the match… Some of those championships wouldn’t have occurred without him on the court. His offensive and defensive force might be a bit excessive at times, but that’s how winning is accomplished. We weren’t there when I played against you in the Finals and you used that kind of simply force.
Even though it seems doubtful right now that Golden State can make it to the Finals, maybe they may have a turnaround like Boston had in 2022.
