Dennis Allen of the Saints makes an insightful offensive statement in the wake of Klint Kubiak’s hiring.
The coach of New Orleans declared something audacious regarding Kubiak and his offensive scheme.
The New Orleans Saints came to terms with new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak early last week after cutting go of Pete Carmichael.
According to Nick Underhill of New Orleans, head coach Dennis Allen gave an explanation today for why he thinks Kubiak is the ideal candidate to lead the Saints’ offence.Soccer:
Dennis Allen: “I felt like Klint Kubiak was obviously the person of choice. I feel like I’ve known this scheme for a long time,” he said to @JamesPalmerTV and @wyche89 about Klint Kubiak. This, in my opinion, is the greatest plan now in use in the NFL.
Kubiak spent the previous season as the San Francisco 49ers’ passing coordinator before to joining the Saints.
While Kubiak was not able to get a Super Bowl ring on Sunday, he was given a fantastic chance to assist the Saints rebuild and further enhance his coaching resume. It will be the job of the former offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings to maximise the potential of an offensive unit that underperformed dramatically in 2023—the New Orleans offence.
Kubiak, the son of head coach Gary Kubiak who won a Super Bowl, will provide the Saints his offensive expertise from the 49ers. Kubiak helped Pro Bowl quarterback Brock Purdy grow after joining the team before the previous year.

Additionally, Andrew Janocko was hired by the Saints last week to assist with quarterback coaching. He collaborated with Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears and Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings. Derek Carr will now be his next major QB project.
Hopefully, Carr can be unlocked by Kubiak and Janocko, allowing the New Orleans offence to produce more than what Saints supporters witnessed the previous season.
