Warren zei: “Being a lifelong Chiefs fan and seeing the unity of the community, of the state and the region that the Chiefs bring, of course, I said, “Yes.”
The Senate Transportation Committee’s proposal would grant the Hunt Family Foundation a Chiefs license plate for use on passenger cars and trucks.
The committee changed Warren’s game plan by adding a plate to Sporting Kansas City, a professional soccer club, with the money going to the Kansas City Soccer Foundation for the Victory Project. Een unieke plaat ter ondersteuning van het Sedgwick County Zoo werd ook goedgekeurd door de commissie.
