Watford, Middlesbrough, Leicester City keeping tabs on ex-Flying Eagles striker
English Championship sides, Watford, Middlesbrough and Leicester City are all keeping tabs on former Flying Eagles forward Akor Adams.
This is according to online Norwegian newspaper Nettavisen Sport which have revealed the English outfit’s interest in the red-hot striker.
Adams has been in blistering form for Lillestrøm in the Eliteserien, the Norwegian top-flight division.
He has posted 15 goals and two assists in 15 games, which is a testament to his proficiency in front of goal.
Unsurprisingly, he has attracted interest from teams in Belgium, Germany and England and his club is open to selling him.Jupiler Pro League side Oud-Heverlee Leuven had a bid rejected for the Nigerian striker some weeks ago and will now have to slug it out with Watford, Leicester City and Middlesbrough.
The three aforementioned English clubs could make do with the services of the striker as they seek to get promoted to the Premier League next season.
The in-form striker joined Lillestrøm in 2021 and has registered 28 goals and seven assists in 50 appearances for the club.

Watford goalkeeper Bachmann had to wait patiently for his chance in the starting XI at Vicarage Road but he has been the starting ‘keeper for a little while now. He has kept 29 clean sheets in 86 games for the Hornets since signing in 2017 and missed only one Championship game last season.
Question marks have surrounded his future recently though. His contract is up next summer and it was claimed earlier this month that the Austrian international was drawing admiring glances from other Championship clubs.
Now though, TEAMtalk has claimed talks between Watford and Bachmann are ongoing over a new contract
The discussions are at an advanced stage as the club look to tie down the services of their no.1 on a long-term basis.
The signing of a new contract would almost certainly end any chance of a summer exit.
