TYLER ADAMS ISSUES SEVEN-WORD VERDICT ON ARCHIE GRAY AFTER LEEDS UNITED DEBUT V CARDIFF CITY
Daniel Farke handed the 17-year-old his Leeds United debut and he lived up to his legendary surname and showcased to the world why there is a lot of hype around him.
Watching on from the sidelines was Tyler Adams, who is still currently injured, and he wrote on his Instagram story his congratulations to Archie Gray.
It wasn’t the start Leeds wanted, or Farke had planned given that it was his first game in charge because his side were 2-0 down inside the first half.
Those defensive frailties were there to see again, surprise, surprise, the same old faces from last season were starting again.
But the Whites fought back during the second period, including Crysencio Summerville scoring a 95th-minute equaliser, and whilst that was dramatic, it was the young teen that caught the eye, with Adams writing the following message on his IG story.
The USMNT captain is currently injured and trying to return to action with the new season already underway.
But will the Leeds fans get to see Adams in their shirt again? There is a lot of talk about his future, with many Premier League teams sniffing around.
If he stays put, then both Adams and Gray could form quite the partnership in the middle of the park and the Leeds academy product will also have a brilliant leader to look up to.

The 29-year-old recently made a return to Leeds United colours when he signed a one-year contract after he left Norwich City on a free transfer this summer – Alex Mowatt delivered his reaction.
And Daniel Farke, who worked with Sam Byram at Carrow Road, handed the versatile defender his second Leeds debut yesterday, and he impressed.
The former West Ham man didn’t start the game, but with his team 2-0 down, he was brought on as a second-half substitute.
Playing as a left-back, he made an instant impact by stamping his authority on the game with his positivity and constant want to attack the opposition’s defence.
After the game, he took to his Instagram to react to donning the Leeds colours again, as he was praised by his fellow players in the comments section, including former Whites man Tom Pearce telling him that he ‘loved it’.
“Amazing feeling to play my first minutes back in front of a packed Elland road😍,” said Byram
“Not the result we deserved overall, but it’s a point on the board. Thanks for your support.”
It needs to be remembered that Byram can operate at right-back and that’s probably something Farke needs to look at moving forward.
Luke Ayling just isn’t on it and struggled again against Cardiff, but either way, Byram now needs to start.
Whilst the defence still has its issues, the attack was full of life, spark and threat, including from the young guns, Wilfried Gnonto and goalscorer, Crysencio Summerville.
