The 18-year-old links up with Fran Alonso’s squad for the 2023/24 campaign, after completing a temporary move to Glasgow.

Having come through the ranks at Real, the teenager has impressively already made several appearances for the club’s first team.

Partido made her debut at senior level in the group stages of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, coming off the bench in a 5-0 win over Breidablik.

2022 was a landmark year for the youngster, going on to make her league debut as well as scoring her first competitive goal for the club, once again in the Champions League, against Vllaznia.

On the international stage, Partido helped the Spanish under-17 squad lift the World Cup in India last year, playing in the 1-0 final victory over Columbia.

The forward has now joined up with the Hoops for the season ahead, as the Ghirls gear up for another busy campaign on the domestic and European front.

Liam Scales has given Aberdeen fans an update on his future after being a standout for Celtic in pre-season.

The Irishman enjoyed a homecoming in Dublin as he was named in Brendan Rodgers’ starting XI as part of a makeshift defence. The defender slotted in at centre-half in the absence of top stars Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt, partnering Stephen Welsh against a Wolves side that managed a 1-1 draw with the Scottish champions at the Aviva Stadium. Scales spent last season on loan at Pittodrie and Barry Robson wants to get the 24-year-old on a permanent deal.

It comes after Aberdeen saw off Charlton Athletic in London with a 3-2 victory, with Dons fans being baffled by Ylber Ramadani’s gesture of throwing his kit in to the crowd – an act to which Robson responded curtly when quizzed on transfer business in the North East. The third placed side have made good inroads in the window but Robson moved to urge patience as the transfer market slowly nears its end.

Robson, meanwhile, earlier said: “There is always a lot of speculation around a lot of our players. Until anything happens – and nothing is happening right now – you can say that about a lot of players. I was just glad the fans were watching a team today that was fast and aggressive and really wanted to run for their club.

“I will let you know when anything is happening with Ramadani. All right? He’s a flying machine and we just rested him up again today. He will be good to go against Livingston next week.

“We still have a few players to come in and give us a hand too. It’s quite evident we look sharp and know exactly what we are doing and how we want to play. We have got some young players in and hopefully we will add a few more. The window doesn’t shut till the end of the month but you never know we might have someone in next week.”
