Nottingham Forest ‘set to bid’ for Leicester City star
Nottingham Forest are reportedly set to make a bid for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Forest were initially linked with a move for Ndidi last month following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League. Now it is said that City’s East Midlands rivals are pushing to make a deal happen.
On Sunday evening, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Nottingham Forest set to bid for Wilfred Ndidi, proposal expected to be submitted soon for Nigerian DM as he’s top target.
“Understand personal terms have been agreed and negotiations will now start between clubs. Forest will push to make it happen.”

Previous reports claimed that the Foxes’ star was on a list of potential targets this summer as the Reds look to strengthen their midfield department. Jonjo Shelvey and Harry Arter appear likely to leave before the summer transfer window shuts on Friday with neither being involved in any Forest squad so far this season.
Ndidi has been an impressive performer at Leicester since he joined from Belgian side Genk in 2017. He has made over 200 appearances during a six-year spell at the King Power Stadium.
