West Ham star Thilo Kehrer, worth £10m, is in empty land
Thilo Kehrer seems to have no place at West Ham United at the moment.
West Ham boss David Moyes brought Thilo Kehrer to the London Stadium from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022 for around £10m (The Guardian).

The 26-year-old was reportedly intent on moving to Bayern Munich at the end of the summer transfer window, but ended up staying with the Hammers.
Since the beginning of the season, Kehrer has only been allowed to play for 15 minutes by Moyes – that is, twice as a substitute.
I think he improved tremendously at the end of last season, and he put in an admirable performance as a second-half substitute in the Europa League final.
However, there seems to be no way for Moyes to include him in the team at the moment.

With Vladimir Coufal playing well at right-back, Kehrer won’t be in the squad at right-back anytime soon.
What about the midfielder?
Well, that’s not going to happen either, with Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Angelo Ogbonna and Konstantinos Mavropanos all ahead of him in ranking order.
If Coufal is injured or suspended, Kehrer will most likely be included in the squad, but an established Germany international can’t wait for that to happen this season, especially with nine months to go.
Euro place.
A departure could be for the best for Thilo Kehrer this summer, and so will West Ham, should Moyes sign the best right-back.
Instead, he stayed at the London Stadium and I don’t expect him to get a lot of game time this season.
It is possible he will leave the club in January, but I still predict that for at least the next few months the German will be hard to say.

He is always ready to receive the ball and is a very solid shield for our defenders.
His dribble in the latter stages of last night’s game was a real pleasure to watch.
Edson Alvarez, for just £34m, is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s best signings this summer.
His statistics against Luton last night were extremely impressive.
Alvarez had 95 touches of the ball, made 3 tackles, 1 interception, 5 saves, 2 saves and won 3 aerial duels.
He got a shot on goal and made an important pass.
The Mexican has made 74 passes and has a completion rate of 86.

You won’t find a more complete and complete performance from a midfielder.
You could argue that he does his job – sitting right in front of four defenders – better than Declan Rice did for West Ham.
The England international has become more of a box-to-box player in his final two years at the London Stadium and the Hammers are too easy to beat as a result.
David Moyes deserves great credit for how Declan Rice spends his money.
Edson Alvarez is exactly the type of player West Ham need this summer.
