After Fulham’s success, the door may open for Tottenham to sign Adarabioyo.
According to sources cited by Football Insider, Tottenham now has a chance to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo, who is out of favor with the club.
AS Monaco and Spurs were both interested in signing the 25-year-old, but no late deal materialized, and he stayed at Craven Cottage.
The fact that Adarabioyo is in the final year of his contract and is thought to have damaged relationships at Fulham would make it challenging for him to reenter the lineup.
Football Insider revealed last month (on August 21) that Fulham was preparing for the Englishman’s departure this summer and has been looking at bringing in a new center-back.
He eventually stayed in London after Adarabioyo’s transfer to Monaco was refused.
The center-back had been working out by himself until recently and has only played as a substitute once this season after being omitted from the matchday squad for the first two games.
Adarabioyo joined Fulham in 2020 after graduating from the Man City academy, and the club activated an extension in January of this year to keep him there through the summer.

The defender has played 108 times for Fulham in all competitions since moving to London, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists.
Abarabioyo was a mainstay for Marco Silva’s team last season, making 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal, and helping them achieve an excellent tenth in the Premier League.
In other news, the Tottenham star appears ready to accept a January transfer.
