Latest news from Nottingham Forest as Steve Cooper’s Red Devils prepare for Premier League clash with Clarets
Nottingham Forest are sweating over the fitness of Serge Aurier, Danilo and Anthony Elanga for Monday night’s clash with Burnley.
Full-back Aurier and midfielder Danilo were both injured in the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Chelsea before the international break.
Elanga scored the winning goal at Stamford Bridge but withdrew early from duty in Sweden because of a hamstring problem.
Head coach Steve Cooper didn’t know if the trio would be ready to face the Clarets at the City Ground when asked in the pre-match press conference.
His team approach next week’s game with the aim of capitalizing on their positive start to the season.

Cooper said: “Danilo had an injury at Chelsea and he is still suffering.
“We don’t really know how long he will be out but he is not training at the moment.

“Anthony returned early from Sweden with a hamstring problem and Serge also left Stamford Bridge so a number of players are being treated for injuries.
Hopefully we will get them back as soon as possible.
“We don’t know (whether they will be available for Monday’s game) because we are still a few days away from playing.
We can’t really rule anyone out, so we’ll see .
“Central defender Felipe continues to recover from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since the summer.
However, the Brazilian played for the Red Devils’ B team last week and has made progress in his recovery.
“He has an injury that needs to be managed a bit – and he hasn’t started his career early yet.
It’s great to have him back.

“It’s good to have him back.
He’s been training during the international break and is back in the mix.
