WELL, it’s another round of Super League done and what a weekend it was!
The action begins on Friday night when Wakefield Trinity travel to Leigh Leopards, knowing that defeat to Leigh Sports Village will see Mark Applegarth’s men relegated.
As it stands, a classic match ensued with Leigh leading 12-6 at half-time before Golden Point were forced through by Luke Gale’s goal in the final minute.
However, Gareth O’Brien added a second goal in the 89th minute to make it 20-19 and knock out Wakefield.
Castleford Tigers’ sigh of relief after their away trip to Wigan Warriors could be heard at the same time.
The Tigers never seemed to cause Wigan any problems and after leading 22-6 at the break, Matt Peet’s side simply crushed their opponents to win 48-6.
Live on Sky Sports, Warrington Wolves host St Helens, the latter of whom are in the race with Wigan for the League leaders’ Shield.
It was a classic game between the two opponents, with Saints leading 12-0 at the break.
However, Daryl Clark’s try cut the gap to just six with 20 minutes remaining before Moses Mbye sealed the 18-6 win after the whistle.
Turn the clock forward 24 hours and there are also three matches on Saturday, starting with Huddersfield Giants’ away trip to Hull FC with kick-off at 3pm.
Despite only leading 16-10 at half-time, Hull collapsed in the second half as Ian Watson’s side prevailed by a massive 52-20.

If that was a resounding victory, the Catalan Dragons’ demolition of Leeds Rhinos was even more so.
It’s true that the Rhinos didn’t have much of a chance to compete with a play-off spot out of reach, but no one expected the destruction that followed.
With Steve McNamara’s side leading 28-0 at halftime, the French turned the tide in the next 40 seconds, sending Leeds back to the UK with a 61-0 defeat.
The final Super League game of the weekend was a real thriller as Salford Red Devils traveled to Craven Park to take on Hull KR in a crucial play-off tie.
With both sides having big moments and successes, Rovers led 6-0 at the break before Ryan Hall tried to steer Willie Peters’ side to glory with a 12-0 win.
