Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Jarrod Bowen likely leaving West Ham to join Liverpool, speaking to CaughtOffside.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool multiple times over the past year, most recently last week.
Losing Bowen would be a real nightmare for Hammers boss David Moyes: he is vital to this team.
It seems Liverpool’s interest in the former Hull City star is not as strong as some reports would have us believe.

The famous Italian journalist has poured cold water on claims that Liverpool are stepping up their interest in signing the 26-year-old Hammers winger.
Romano said:
Liverpool have been linked with Jarrod Bowen as they could face Saudi interest in Mohamed Salah again, but things are really quiet at the moment.
Nothing concrete yet, just normal recruitment, but that’s what big clubs do all the time; not just Liverpool.
There’s still nothing concrete with Bowen at this time or any other players.
I think Bowen will certainly attract the attention of some of England’s biggest clubs if he continues his good form throughout the 2023/24 season.
But now he just needs to focus on us.
The winger is hugely important for West Ham and it is vital the club proves to him that we can meet his ambitions, if we are to have any chance of keeping him remain at the London Stadium beyond the end of this season.
One thing I will say is that the 26-year-old looks happier now at the London Stadium.
Long may this continue.
I don’t see any reason why he should consider moving to a club like Liverpool.
But all that could change if we don’t show him he can win big trophies as a Hammers player.
