3 Celtic stars made it to the global ‘Wonderkids’ list at the FC 24 launch
The latest version of the popular FIFA series launches today on all consoles and millions of players around the world are studying the game’s players to determine who will be targeted in the mode. Popular Career degrees.
This game mode often relies on players’ potential over time and as such, Celtic’s three wingers could be some of the best young talents to include in your virtual team.
Hyunjun Yang, Liel Abada and Rocco Vata were all named in the list of ‘miracle children’ organized by famous football magazine FourFourTwo. They determine which players have the best potential in the game.
Yang has the highest potential rating (83), followed closely by Vata and Abada with 82. Depending on the match, this puts their potential on par with Liverpool’s Ben Doak and Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku.
It may take some time for Career Mode players to build a Celtic team to this level. Vata started with the team’s lowest rating of 64, while Yang had a starting rating of 68 and Abada with 74.
In real life, all three players continue to develop and improve under the guidance of coach Brendan Rodgers. Celtic’s official website have released footage of behind the scenes footage of this year’s team photoshoot. It’s something that happens annually and gives the supporters the chance to see everyone together in their kit as a squad. The inevitable photo is then used for calendars and gift items which can be purchased from the club’s official shop too.
There has been some considerable changes this year as we are without Jota, Carl Starfelt and Aaron Mooy, after the former two were sold to La Liga and the Saudi Pro League, respectively, whilst the Australian midfielder decided to call time on his wonderful career due to a back issue. So we’ve lost some old faces but still, we’ve gained some new ones too and kept the majority of our team intact.
The old stalwarts like Callum McGregor, Greg Taylor, Joe Hart, James Forrest, Anthony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyogo Furuhashi are still there. Meanwhile, the likes of Nat Phillips, Luis Palma, Yang Hyun-jun and Marco Tilio are present in the photo and represent a look at what a the future may hold for us now. One notable absentee is James McCarthy who is clearly completely out of the picture – quite literally.
All these aforementioned players and the others who haven’t been mentioned as there are too many to list, have a great opportunity to build on the previous season and contribute to the illustrious and unbroken history of this football club during the campaign. In many respects it is a new team because we have a new manager and have changed some playing staff, whilst bringing in others who can be developed at Celtic Park.
Despite the mixed fortunes of the transfer window, this team and squad more generally, could achieve great things for the club. We’ve still five games to go in the UEFA Champions League group stages and have to compete on two fronts domestically; both the Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup are up for grabs and although we can’t do another Treble, we can still have a memorable year.
