“You ride Mike Tomlin’s weirdos and call yourself terrible games” – Pittsburgh Steelers OC Matt Canada brutally trolled after tasteless start to season
Pittsburgh Steelers OC Matt Canada needs to work on handling the Steelers offense to win a big game, one that has been questionable so far on Canada’s part.
Pittsburgh Steelers fan Mitch, better known as sadsteelersfan7 on TikTok, paid Hank Schrader to send a message to the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator.
Schrader, who plays Dean Norris on the hit series Breaking Bad, said on TikTok:
“Hey, I can’t tell Matt Canada, he has the same hairstyle as me, you know, we’re like shock jocks, we’re bald guys.”
“But I’ll tell you what Mitch has to say, he needs you to get the hell out of Pittsburgh.”
He also added a cameo video
“Mitch said the Pittsburgh Steelers need to fire Matt Canada, Mitch also said you’re riding on Mike Tomlin’s back and running terrible offense. So, Mitch has a problem with you, Matt, and I hope things work out between you two.
As many fans also pointed out earlier in the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-1 and escaped with a lucky win in Week 2.
Many fans believe that the defense brought the victory to the Steelers, while their offense against Canada was in very poor form. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin emphasized his confidence in the Canadiens, the Steelers’ offense is due for a big play in their Week 3 matchup.
In their next game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3, the team needs to work harder, and if they lose due to a poor offense, Canada could find themselves in a difficult situation.

Update:
Kenny Pickett is said to have suffered a bone bruise in his knee and a muscle strain. It’s likely he’ll go this week. But with the Steelers having a Week 6 bye, Pickett could sit out. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett left Sunday’s game with a knee injury. While the Steelers don’t expect him to miss the rest of the season, the former first-round pick could still be out for some time.
Against the Houston Texans in Week 4, Pickett’s leg was twisted while attempting a fourth down in the third quarter. He remained on the ground for several minutes before slowly making his way to the sideline with the help of an assistant.
Kenny Pickett’s 2023 stats:
29.4 QBR (30th in NFL), 60.6% completion rate, 803 passing yards, 4-4 TD-INT, 6.3 yards per attempt, 11 punts
Before the injury, Pickett and the Steelers’ offensive line was struggling. He posted just a 59 passer rating with one interception and three sacks, averaging just five yards per pass attempt. In his absence, Mitch Trubisky completed 3 of 5 passes for 18 yards and Pittsburgh lost 30-6.
Appearing on Good Morning Football, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted that there is still no “accurate” diagnosis of Pickett’s knee injury. However, this is not a season-ending ACL tear. Pickett will receive the results of an MRI on Monday, followed by a definitive diagnosis and recovery period. Until Pickett is cleared to return, Trubisky will be the Steelers’ starting quarterback. Last season, in 10 games, he completed 65% of his passes for an 81.1 quarterback rating, but had a 4-5 TD-INT rating and averaged just 178.9 yards pass the ball every match.
After a strong preseason behind the Steelers offense, the first month of the regular season was a disaster. In today’s NFL games, Pittsburgh ranks 25th in points scored (15.5 PPG) and 27th in yards per play (4.6).
Operating behind an offensive line that has generated the fifth-worst pressures in the NFL, Trubisky and the Steelers offense will likely continue to struggle.
