BREAKING: Miami Dolphins Lose Key Offensive Starter For Four Games
The Miami Dolphins will lose one of their key offensive starters for at least two games. The Dolphins have dealt with a few significant injuries on offense the previous few weeks. They placed two wide receivers on injured reserve last week.
On Monday, the Dolphins ruled out Terron Armstead for their Week 5 game against the New York Giants due to a knee injury. Head coach Mike McDaniel said earlier this week the injury would be measured in terms of weeks missed instead of days.
The update on Friday is not good for the All-Pro left tackle.
According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Dolphins are placing Armstead on injured reserve due to the knee injury he suffered in Week 4. The Dolphins expect Armstead to return this season.
Losing Armstead will be a big hurt for the Dolphins offensive line. The team needs to make sure Tua Tagovailoa stays upright. That will be harder with a starting offensive lineman on the injured reserve.

It comes as no surprise that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill says he’s the fastest player on the team. When asked about teammate De’Von Achane’s speed during media availability, he assured to everyone that he was the fastest, but there was someone even faster than Achane.
Achane picked up the speed in the Week 4 matchup against the Buffalo Bills when he was clocked at 20.6 mph on a 55-yard run, which was the fastest time of any running back of the week and fifth-fastest among positions. In week 3, he was clocked at 21.5 mph.
Hill did tell media members on Thursday however, that he doesn’t believe that Achane or even Raheem Mostert were the second-fastest players on the team. Matter of fact, he gave kudos to practice squad cornerback Ethan Bonner.
“De’Von’s fast, I would say he’s like the third-fastest on the team,” said Hill. “We got another kid on the practice squad that’s pretty fast, Ethan Bonner. White kid fast, rolling.”
Bonner signed as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford University and showcased his speed back in March at the Cardinal’s Pro Day. Bonner was allegedly clocked at running a 40-yard dash with a time of 4.39 seconds, the fastest of any Cardinal player at the event.
During Bonner’s time at Stanford, he had 59 total tackles, five pass breakups, and four tackles for a loss. Not only that, but he was a standout track star with his high school in Texas, leading them to the 2017 Class 6A State Championship and helping set a state record in the 4 x 200-meter relay.
Tyreek Hill has a recorded time of 21.6 mph in a 47-yard touchdown in Miami’s week one 36-34 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but it didn’t take long for someone to come and take that top spot away from him. Achane posted a 21.9 mph time on a 67-yard touchdown in the 70-20 blowout win against Denver.
Raheem Mostert also clocked a 21.62 mph time in a 43-yard touchdown drive in the Week 2 win over New England, which gave him the third-fastest time on the team this season.
Maybe Hill needs to watch out, he might be nicknamed “Cheetah”, but looks like the cheetah could be outrun by his teammates. He got a little defensive when members of the media said that Achane was faster.
“Men lie, women lie, but numbers don’t lie, do they?” asked Hill. “I’ve been doing this since what, 2016, baby. I’m the cheetah. I’m the fastest in the game and I’m the fastest in real life too.
“De’Von Achane, he’s fast. But I’m 9.98 fast. I’m Triple Crown High School fast. Junior Olympic fast.”
According to Next Gen Stats’ speed clocking, Mostert held the top two spots with a 22.73 mph in Week 1, and then 23.09 mph the following week, both plays resulted in 75-plus yard touchdowns. However, Hill stands alone at the top with the fastest recorded speed in an NFL game with a 23.24 mph time in his rookie season back in 2016. No one has topped that in a game yet.
