Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane will miss several weeks with a knee injury

According to various sources, Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane will be out for several weeks due to the knee injury he suffered in last Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

There is optimism about Achane’s return this season, as his injury is not considered a season-ending injury. However, the star rookie today must see more doctors to get a second opinion on the severity of his injury.

It’s a big blow to Miami’s offensive line that has been making noise on the field lately. The Dolphins ran for 222 yards against the Giants last weekend — 151 of those yards went to Achane.

Achane has 527 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He averaged 12.1 yards per carry.

The Dolphins will rely on veteran Raheem Mostert in Achane’s absence. Jeff Wilson Jr. could also be back in the near future as the team said the previously injured running back could begin practicing this week for the first time since being placed on injured reserve before opening season.

More information will be provided to our readers once the team is available.
