The Green Bay Packers have some good news regarding their offensive weapons ahead of their Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos. The Packers have been without running back Aaron Jones for most of the season. Jones injured his hamstring in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears.
Jones returns in Week 4 to face the Detroit Lions. But he only played 20 offensive snaps in the Packers’ blowout loss. Jones did not play in the Packers’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
The Packers’ rushing attack suffered without Jones. Packers RB2 AJ Dillon is averaging 3.0 yards per carry this season.

The Packers received some good news during Monday’s practice regarding Jones’ status following the team’s bye week. According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Jones was seen practicing with the team.

This is a good sign of his readiness against the Broncos. Jones has been the Packers’ most productive running back this season. He totaled 59 yards on 14 attempts for an average of 4.2 yards per carry.
The Broncos are the perfect team for Jones and the Packers to get back in shape running the football. The Broncos’ defense ranks 32nd in the league in rushing yards given up per game, with an average of 172.3 yards.
