The Boston Celtics are 2-1 so far this season with two wins over the Philadelphia 76ers and their only loss coming against our Tuesday night opponents, the New York Knicks. Can the Celtics take a 3-1 lead and take advantage of the Knicks, or will they trail the Knicks 2-0 in two preseason games? Roster predictions, injury reports and more.

Will the Boston Celtics rotate their starting lineup as much as they did in their only preseason loss to the Knicks? Our starting five looked solid in the two wins against the Sixers, but all the starters were rested after the loss to the Knicks. I had previously predicted a stronger lineup to face the Knicks that night, but instead the starting five included Payton Pritchard, Dalano Banton, Sam Hauser, Oshae Brissett and Luke Kornet.

The final score of this game was 107 for the Celtics, 114 for the Knicks, and even though this game ended in a loss, there were a lot of positives to take from it as the Knicks played their best five games. Firstly. Should we expect another high rotation of starting five from the Celtics or will we see some star names return to the lineup? Will the Knicks play all five starters in three straight preseason games?

I expect some of the bigger names to return to the lineup, but I think there needs to be a big role player starting, and that person is the new player in the pre-season so far, Pritchard . No one stands out more than the Oregon native, who has excelled far beyond all expectations. Although many doubted his abilities after his contract extension was announced, he silenced all doubters by throwing bucket after bucket for the Celtics this preseason.Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks NBA betting odds, lines, trends

Yes, Jrue Holiday absolutely deserves a starting spot on Tuesday night, but with the way Pritchard is playing, that’s not set in stone. However, I think on this occasion Holiday will start ahead of Pritchard, although his recent performances absolutely warrant a starting spot. It was definitely a tough choice and I’m happy that Joe Mazzulla had to make the decision, not me, but I think mainly through building chemistry with the rest of the team, Holiday will start ahead of Pritchard. Important minutes off the bench are always expected and deserved for our recently resigned marksman.

Banton started at point guard in the first preseason game against the Knicks, and after shooting 8-19 from the field, scoring the second-highest score for the Celtics that day with 20, I think he deserves a Another chance to prove what I can do. But will Mazzulla give him a chance to start or will he see Banton’s impact coming from the bench? I think that would be the second choice. With the form that Derrick White showed against the 76ers on both ends of the court, I think he will get the upper hand over Banton against the Knicks.

Personally, I think White should be a regular starter once the season starts, and these pre-season games are his chance to show why that can happen.

Derrick White deserves more respect than he gets…I love it!! #DifferenceHere

With his ability to shoot at a high level in the past two preseason games, does Mykhailiuk deserve to start against the Knicks? I think so. Will Mazzulla give him the lead role? Again, I don’t think so. If Jaylen Brown is available, his name will be one of the first added to the list, but I expect Hauser to return to the lineup to build momentum and form for opening day. In the Celtics’ most recent win over the 76ers, Hauser was one of our best players with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 1 4-point shot. 9 from outside the box (44.4%). . Although Hauser had a rough start to his pre-season outing, his confidence will be high after Wednesday night’s performance. Does this justify starting against the Knicks? I think so. With Jayson Tatums’ starting chances against the Knicks questionable and Luke Kornet thus far not being the dominant force we need, the 4th and 5th spots are still up for grabs. With Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis playing well so far this preseason, I think Kornet can only be assigned a reserve role in the upcoming game against the Knicks. Because the two big men are both viable options for the game against the Knicks, it is difficult to predict who will start. Could it even be both?Boston Celtics vs Nets Injury Report, Lineups, Predictions, for March 3

A dual lineup, opposite Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson, may be necessary for a successful night. So is Mazzulla on board with the new man? Or choose a reliable veteran option? Or both? I think on this occasion he will have to pick both – Horford at 4 and Porzingis at 5. I still expect Kornet to get good minutes off the bench and hope Hopefully his form will improve entering the regular season.

There’s always a chance the Boston Celtics will play a five-game starting rotation with the Knicks, like they did in their first preseason meeting, but with only two preseason games left, I think it’s time to start playing some regular matches to build momentum before the opening date is announced.

While I predict a stronger starting lineup, the rotation players have certainly proven their worth and I expect them to get extended time off the bench to continue cooking grill.

The Knicks have played their full five starters in two preseason games, are they rotating their roster against the Boston Celtics?
So far this preseason, the Knicks have played a full five of their starters in both games, including Jalen Brunson, Quentin Grimes, RJ Barrett, Randle and Robinson, resulting in one win and one loss.

Can we expect them to give their role players a chance by starting them, allowing them to prove their worth and play more minutes in the upcoming season? Or will we see a similar Knicks team? In his first meeting with the Celtics, Immanuel Quickley had an incredible offensive performance with 21 points, 3 assists, 3 steals and shot 8-14 (57.1%) from the field. His offensive production declined in their second preseason game when they faced the Minnesota Timberwolves as he shot just 22.2% from the field and scored 9 points, losing the game 121-112.

If the Knicks decide to rest their star players, or at least bench them, Quickley will be the first name added to their starting lineup, allowing him to build a stable performance numbers to enter the official season. However, I’m not sure the Knicks will rotate their roster too much. I still expect Tom Thibodeau to start Jalen Brunson ahead of Quickley on this occasion. Bruson will be one of the key factors in any potential success for the Knicks this season and allowing him to continue building on his form could be Thibodeau’s plan.

Through the Knicks’ first two preseason games, Grimes hasn’t lived up to his potential, and for that reason, I think he could be given more of an impactful role against the Celtics. Additionally, given his strong performances in the two games so far, it would only be fair if Evan Fournier gets a chance to fight for a bigger role this season. There’s also a chance Thibodeau will play with Donte DiVincenzo ahead of Fournier, but I think Fournier will be the second name we’ll see in the starting lineup on Tuesday night.
