Ransom appeared to suffer a non-contact injury in the fourth quarter of last Saturday’s win at Wisconsin.
He hopped to the sideline, then was transported to the locker room, first by cart and then by wheelchair.
However, he walked back to the sideline later in the quarter and appeared to be testing out the injury.
In his absence, Ohio State expanded its lead to 14 points.
Ransom was fourth on the team in tackles (34) with one interception, two sacks and one forced fumble.
In his absence, OSU could move Sonny Styles from nickel to steal and play Jordan Hancock more exclusively at nickel.
He could also use players like Ja’Had Carter (who is currently returning from injury) and Malik Hartford at the Bandit.
