The Green Bay \Cincinnati Bengals are activating fourth-year offensive lineman Jake Hanson from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list ahead of their first practice of the shortened 2023 training camp his stay on the injured list.

The Packers have plenty of starting candidates for their offensive line entering the 2023 season.
Five-time All-Pro David Bakhtiari is now cleared of his ACL injury and will look to return to his dominant season-long form as Jordan Love’s blocker.
Pro Bowler Elgton Jenkins is also in line to begin the season alongside Bakhtiari as the Packers’ starting left guard.
But the remaining three positions?
The competition will have to sort them out.
At center, Josh Myers remains the Packers’ best option to start the season as the starting center.

Then there’s the guard station on the right.
Runyan is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is expected to retain that role in 2023, but the Packers have plenty of young talent behind him with Tom, Rhyan, Hanson and Newman.
If the Cincinnati Bengals get good performances from the remaining four, maybe they’ll consider assigning Runyan to a team in need of a guard and elevating their next best guard to a starting role.
