New Orleans had three key players go down on Sunday, including Thomas, corner Marshon Lattimore, and quarterback Derek Carr. A report came out that Carr will probably be all right by the time week 12 comes around, but Thomas and Lattimore’s status will be unknown until next week. Lattimore suffered an ankle injury while Thomas suffered a knee injury, All three players were ruled out of the loss against the Vikings, and their status’ remains unknown.

Thomas has been a big talking point these last few days after he was arrested for throwing two bricks at a contractor’s truck. He also pushed the contractor and even took his phone and threw it when he was trying to record the incident. Now, the star receiver’s issues continue as his injury could cause him to miss some playing time.

Thomas has not been playing at his usual level this season, going for just 448 receiving yards and one touchdown through 10 weeks. He has amounted to over 1,000 yards receiving in his first four seasons in the league and has been dealing with significant injuries every year since.

The Saints are currently 5-5 and are sitting in first place in the NFC South division. The team will have a bye this week before they travel to Georgia to take on their rivals, the Atlanta Falcons. The status of Thomas, Carr, and Latimore is still up in the air, and we will find out more information after week 11 comes to an end.
