But tonight, the Sooners received surprising news as star defensive lineman Billy Bowman Jr.
announced he would be returning for his senior season.

In 2023, he recorded 61 tackles, 4 pass deflections, and 6 INTs (3 TDs).

The Sooners could try out one of the best safeties in the country starting in Week 1, as many other teams are looking to use inexperienced players next season.
