Since their appearance in the 2009 BCS Championship, the Texas Longhorns are having their finest season to date. The Longhorns have a chance to make a run at the College Football National Championship in their upcoming game against the Washington Huskies, all because of the talented recruits under Steve Sarkisian’s tutelage who are just getting better.

But the Longhorns will lose a few players to the NFL throughout the offseason, despite having many top prospects have outstanding seasons. Though a few others have their sights set on the professionals, quarterback Quinn Ewers is anticipated to return for a second season, which could help the squad sustain a winning record in 2024 as well.

According to NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline, tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell plan to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Sanders has reportedly chosen an agent, and Mitchell is reportedly progressing rather nicely in the hiring process as well.

As of right now, both pass-catching prospects are anticipated to be selected in the first or second round. Sanders is regarded as the second-best tight end prospect in the draft class, after Georgia’s Brock Bowers. The 6-foot-4, 256-pound player should have no trouble seeing the field as a rookie in the NFL because he completed his last two seasons with just over 600 yards each.
