For their matchup with the Spurs on Monday, the 76ers have a long list of injuries.
When the Philadelphia 76ers play the San Antonio Spurs on Monday for the first time this season, their injury concerns won’t go away completely.
The Sixers still have a noteworthy list of reserves listed on the injury report for Monday, even if they have removed star center Joel Embiid from it after judging him questionable prior to his clearance for action against the Charlotte Hornets over the weekend.
Patrick Beverley, a veteran guard for Philadelphia, has been battling a medical condition. Even though he was only absent for the second time this season on Saturday, Beverley is expected to play on Monday, so he should be back on the court.
Philadelphia’s seasoned guard Patrick Beverley has been struggling with a health issue. Beverley was only absent on Saturday for the second time this season, but he should be back on the court on Monday because he is scheduled to play.
Jaden Springer, a young veteran, finds himself in a similar situation as Bamba. His most recent game was against Sacramento, and he missed four consecutive because of ankle tendonitis. With his health uncertain, Springer goes into the game on Monday.
Although Robert Covington’s absence has now lasted several weeks, the Sixers had anticipated for his comeback to occur much sooner.
Covington hasn’t played since his five-minute stint against the Chicago Bulls on December 30 due to knee discomfort. Covington’s terrible streak of nine consecutive absences to start 2024 will continue as he is out of the game on Monday.
De’Anthony Melton, the starting guard, will be joining Covington. Melton’s back problems are still bothering him, so he hasn’t been cleared to play yet. On Monday night, he will miss his sixth straight game. Since January began, he has not appeared in more than two games.
