Tevita Pangai Junior will play for the Dolphins in the NRL for the balance of the 2024 season, the team has confirmed.
According to reports, the 28-year-old will join the Dolphins on Monday for training after leaving Queensland Cup team Souths Logan Magpies the following week.
Jason Saab, a winger for Manly, has agreed to a lucrative new contract that will keep him on Sydney’s northern beaches to the end of 2029.
The fact that Saab had a deal with the Sea Eagles through the conclusion of the 2026 season makes the announcement rather surprising.
The 23-year-old’s finest form is yet ahead of him, so it’s clear from the transfer that Manly think highly of him.
“Jason has made tremendous progress in the past 18 months. Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold stated, “I think he can now become an elite winger and a representative class winger.”

After second rower Haumole Olakau’atu signed a six-year agreement that runs through 2031, Saab became the fourth Sea Eagle to sign a long-term contract with the team that extends into 2026.
Luke Brooks, a former Tiger, and Ben Trbojevic, a versatile player, are both contracted with the team till the end of 2027.
