Nottingham Forest ‘interested’ in Juventus defender amid Tottenham links
Nottingham Forest are ‘interested’ in Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso, according to a report.
The 21-year-old has also reportedly caught the eye of AC Milan and Forest’s Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Cambiaso spent last season on loan at Bologna from Juventus, making 32 appearances in Serie A and notching up two assists.
He impressed with his performances, so much so that Juventus are “not open” to selling him at this stage, though talks “could develop” later in the transfer window.
That’s according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who say Cambiaso is “liked and not a little” by Forest and their two named rivals for a potential transfer. Tottenham are said to have made a £21.5million offer for the player last week, though talks have not progressed.

According to Mondo Napoli last week, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
The report in the Italian news outlet claimed that AC Milan are also keen on the 23-year-old left-back.
Tottenham have made enquiries regarding Cambiaso, who earns £20,000 per week (SalarySport).
Juventus do not want to sell the youngster and value him at €25 million (£21.64 million), according to the report.
It now seems that Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest have joined the race for Cambiaso.
According to TMW this evening, Forest are interested securing the servcies of the Italian full-back.
The report in the Italian news outlet has mentioned Milan and Tottenham as well as clubs who are keen on Cambiaso, adding that Juventus do not want to sell him.
Tough for Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest to sign Andrea Cambiaso
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest could struggle to sign Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
If Juventus do not want to sell the 23-year-old, then it would be hard for Spurs or Forest to get a deal done.
We do not think that the Italian youngster himself would be keen on forcing a move out of Juve this summer.
After all, Juventus are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Italy and will be determined to win Serie A next season.
And Cambiaso could be part of the Bianconeri’s first team in that quest.
The left-back spent last season on loan at Bologna from Juventus.
He played at right-back and left-back for Bologna last season.
Cambiaso made 25 starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A.
The youngster gave three assists in those games.
